Hello again everyone. Not a lot happened this week. I trained on Monday and Tuesday and then got a call from my dad Tuesday evening informing me that my grandmother was fading fast. She was such a sweet lady and will be loved and missed by many people. She had been battling cancer for 4 years, and the good Lord decided that her time on this Earth was done and called her home at 0350, Tuesday, March 2nd, 2010. I packed up my stuff and headed out the next morning to go back home for the funeral. I live in South Carolina, originally from Louisiana, so the 13 hour drive on dead legs was not fun to say the least. I almost got killed on the way down there, because some truckers don’t pay attention and change lanes without looking. I was going 70mph in a wet median, headed right at a guard rail and somehow missed it and the truck and came out alive. That scared the shit out of me! My pulse was racing, so I checked it and it was at 180bpm at the time of the almost accident! At least I burned a few calories lol. Well, sorry for the boring and dull week, but not a lot happened in the way of training. I’m back at it this week and I’m foaming at the mouth to keep tearing it up in the gym!
Thank you,
