Week 3 summary

Another successful week has come and gone in my contest prep.  Last week, I started using the Methyl Masterdrol and Methyl 1D.  I was reading over my last post and noticed that I said that I would be taking 8 of each of these two supplements a day.  I actually only take 6 of the Methyl Masterdrol, but I do take 8 of the M1D.  Just wanted to clear that up before I got into my week in summary.

Alright, this week started like all of the rest with a boring arm workout.  I must be the only bodybuilder on the planet that doesn’t like training arms.  I really hate doing biceps, but I like triceps alright.  I just can’t stand curling over and over; it gets old fast.  After that, I had the best leg day that I’ve had in a long time.  I was seriously surprised at the way that I was able to train.  My strength and stamina were just amazing on both leg and back day this week.  I hit a personal record on deads…during contest prep!  I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that I am getting stronger as this prep goes on.  I know that my strength gains will eventually come to a halt as the contest draws near, but I’ll take it for now!  I have to attribute the strength gains to the Trifecta Stack doing it’s job.  I am eating less than what I did in the offseason, so the food isn’t what’s doing it.  I was having a rough day on my chest day, just feeling really tired from waking up early.  I used an E-911, and once again, I had another great workout with its assistance.  It seems like once a week, I have to reach for this supplement to give me a boost to get through a workout and it NEVER lets me down!

I also lost another 2lbs this week and I haven’t started using any fat burners yet, so I’m glad that I’m progressing so well at this stage.  I had planned on using a stimulant free fat burner at first, followed by Speed V2 in the final weeks, but I might not have to go the route of the stimulant free fat burner if this keeps up.  I might just have to use Speed V2 for those final weeks when the fat is stubborn to come off and I am dragging ass.  The Speed V2 helped me my last prep for the final 5 weeks to keep my fat loss humming along when it had stalled, so I am glad that I have it to turn to once again this prep.

Thanks for tuning in to another weekly update in my pursuit to a pro card.

    David,
Enjoy following your contest prep blogging.  I too, am considering jumping back into the competitive natural bodybuilding waters after a multi year layoff.  My question is in your usage of M1D and other prohormones, and or estrogen blockers. Are not these banned substances in natural shows?  Can you clarify what products can or cannot be consumed and still pass ones drug test.  Thanks.

No they are not banned in the NGA.  Hormone precursors are not banned, but of you get tested and have a T:E ratio of more than the allowed 6:1 or have steroid metabolites in your blood stream, then you are accountable for it.  The older version of Methyl Masterdrol was a superdrol clone if I remember correctly.  That one could have possibly shown up if dosed high enough.  I do not worry about it with these supplements.
