It works just like HIIT cardio. The fat is burned after the workout. This is the most intense cardio session that you’ll ever have, and it only lasts for 10ish minuets. It also increases your appetite, but you stay lean at the same time. It is a great tool for nitrient partitioning and fat burning at the same time. Done regularily, this will increase your grip strength, strengthen your cardiovascular system, and bring up a set of lagging hams. Be careful though, I wouldn’t recommend doing it more than twice a week due to the stress that it puts on your lower back and CNS.
Hey great vid, just watched it on RX…
How long are you resting between sets, or is it a case of catch your breath and go again ?
Do you consider this too high intensity for keto?… I’m thinking it would work well at the end or start of my depletion wokout ?
Thanks in advance,
Neil.
Sorry Neil, I missed this one. It’s just a min rest between sets. I wouldn’t do this keto unless I had some carbs before hand for energy. It’s basically just HIIT cardio, but it’s an ass kicker! If you do it before you workout, then you really might not be able to do anything else after it, especially if you plan on doing legs or back.
